# Inquiry Regarding COM Port Recognition on AOM2721

Dear Customer Support,

I hope this message finds you well.

I would like to confirm the behavior regarding COM port recognition on the AOM2721.

**■ Background**  
The device appears to have two physical UART ports, but they do not show up as COM ports in the Windows Device Manager (please refer to the attached image).

**■ Questions**

1. Is it necessary to install any additional drivers to enable COM port functionality on this device?
2. The current OS version of the device is “ver 0.9.0.”  
Is it possible that an OS update is required for COM ports to be recognized?
