AK 1221 Ubuntu 20.04 Shutdown/Restart Stuck

Hi All,

I have installed Ubuntu 20.04 in ARK1221 and the OS runs good without any issues. But shutdown or restart doesn’t work somehow.

When i click on restart the screen moves to ubuntu splash screen and is stuck there. Shutdown gives similar result. It’s stuck at the splash screen. Despite waiting for an hour its the same. The only way i could boot it back is to do a hard shutdown by removing the power and putting back in.

I have tried to flash the OS twice thinking it we be some installation issue but every time i see the same issue.

Please refer to the following User manual page 69.
Please enable “PinCntrl Driver GPIO Scheme” from BIOS when using an OS on Linux kernel 5.10 or later.

If this setting does not work, please let me know the Linux version in detail.

If this setting does not solve this problem, please let me know the Linux verion in detail.
